Is there a chance for a effect based community to survive?
So far, there is a SG bass day going on and their attendance is rather good.
Iam thinking, how possible it is to have something like that going on. For anyone who is really interested in finding out what effect pedal can do to enhance the music, inspire ideas and use the effect pedal as another instrument instead.
Definitely its not something for the engvay camp nor michaelangelotheninjaturtleshreddingcamp ;D

cosy community. friendly bunch.
and not everyone appreciate pedals.
aquired taste.
i started pedalling around only early this year.

I guess also have to depend on the genre of music that one is playing. If in a normal rock setting. The usual effect will be enough.
Haha, it be scary thou, it majority is into pedals playing. Think i will go learn how to shred instead ;D

we have a small community ourselves what...
i heard the SG Bass day had a turnout of less than 20-30?
but then, it's still bigger than ours...

some cheapo analogue delay that is almost a complete copy of a boss analogue delay down to the casing
and I'm pretty sure there's some more waiting to be dug out from some drawers.
then we can have chorus shootout, flanger, phaser, od, distorto, wah, oddballs, furballs, hairyballs....
