yeh, what do u see urself doing all this music thing? i was reading a pretty similar post in HC FX n it got me thinking what about the local guys here.. do people wanna actually get famous, walk the reddest carpets, get sucked by groupies n make music-making a livelihood, think big-time or is music just for fun, get around, wank now, clear up later thingy.. or sell, repair, do all the technical musical stuff..
what do u hope to achieve in music?
i just wanna gig here n there, just for the experience, record some songs so i can look back when i get old n laugh at all that cheese i had when i was young..

for me, i got no life and i aint got any other things which i can do for hobby, so i play guitar. Am very happy to come up with some tunes and listen to it myself or force who ever come over my place and listen to it;D sorry guys, you know who you are, for having to put up with me  The rest(gig, $ etc) are just too distant away for me to think. Going too much into it, the fun in playing guitar just aint the same. |

Justin Timberlake rawks... but the Neptunes' shit-hot production work rawks harder... 1) Actually, I'd like to play as many gigs in as many places as possible. Was at da boss' place just now. Daniel from Electrico was there just now. He told us tt they played a gig for Chongqin Secondary Sch prom. The sec sch kids went wild and were dancing and the wooden floor caved in a little. That's appreciation and love from the audience for you, I guess. Be nice to have tt and a HOTT groupie who would come up to you saying, "That G7#9sus4 chord really struck me deep in my heart. Can I suck you off now?" Yeah, sure just don't spill over the carpet... 2) Do some production work and produce some stuff tt's a good rip-off of a) DJ Shadow, b) Ladytron, c) Lamb, d) Propellorheads and e) DNTEL/Postal Service. Hopefully, all 5... That'd be nice. 3) Be revered as a guitar god for playing 2 chords over and over again...  |

seriously now... i think guitar playing for me is an expensive hobby, considering still in ns... and i started pedaling only at the start of 2004. never regretted it though.  but for me, i just wanna play. gigs or not, band or not, i will still play the guitar. if got chicks come up and wanna befriend me... BRING IT ON! but usually don't have lah, or there are better guitar players than me. so yah. but i think it can be quite nice to play the guitar at the age of 50 also. |
