I'd do Force Vomit's 'Since I've Been Loving You' or 'Spacemen Over Malaysia'.
And Obs Leslie's collaboration with X'Ho, 'We Are Always Halfway There'. Fucken good lyrics. Anti-govt, of cuz but really well-thought out and deep.

yeah.. u r definitely ready to roll... sugarlies sound familiar but can't ring a bell.. who they hah?.. Sugarflies is JUNE KOH. They've released an album of superb pop songs with a local tinge. I love the album to death and being a lovely band member then I passed it to my ex fucked up bassist who left it in his car who got the very car towed away by the financiers and he didn't give a damn about it. I miss that album and I can't find it anymore and Sugarflies are no more.

i was abt to proposition ah seng to burn it in exchange for some sexual favours.
The album's not bad. Recorded in Lion Studios to boot... back in 1998. I heard June Koh went to the States for studies. Dunno what happened after that. The 2nd guitarist, Stella (Quite cute... in a way) was trying to hold the fort while June was away. But her vocals are pretty bad...
Wan from March12 used to play bass in The Sugarflies and Ray Aziz drummed for them. Ray, he's a slut... he was everywhere... the next time I see Ray must ask him what happened to June.
'What About' has a very Phua Chu Kang riff. I sampled my vinyl static hiss from that track! hahaha...
