Hi!... can anyone explain these two pedals to me?
and what's the difference between using each of these to boost my signal?

eh, some boosters give ard 3dB or more signal increase. Some just do that while others colour ur overall tone, adding slight gain and whatnot. Volume pedal just works macham like a volume knob on ur guitar.
You wouldn't be the doode from VR by any chance?
