internet didnt become so common and almost every household got it.
Was just wondering bout it and how internet really make life simple for gear related search.
Back then(90s), it was only through guitar mag and all those that i read in it, never seem to have it in spore.
I remember going to plaza spura, standing outside SL, drooling at fender/ibanez guitars and a flowery lbanez neck which cost $500. Other then that, it was yamaha combo shop.
Hehe, didnt even know what the hell was pedals till i saw boss stuff at davis around 94.
In those days, i hatta work as a waiter paying 2.30/hr, work like siaoz to earn the money, save it and buy cds or pedals.
Haha, back then, i wanted a pedal to give the long sustain cos i did not like what i hear with my vantage guitar and the practice amp. So i went davis, got the uncle to intro. I came back with a delay(dd3) But it still didnt solve my sustain problem, only it kept repeat the sound over and over again.
But of course, after working, saving, i sent to davis again, gotten a cs-3. It didnt solve the sustain problem, till many years later, i change amp. Then realised the sustain dont come from pedal...
hahahaha, if only there was internet back then, there wont be so much venturing and finding things out in the hard way.
So the point is, with internet, its been so much easier. If only we can all search the things first before jumping into it. It might save lotsa trouble.
Thank you for reading thru. Hope you are amused by my search of sustain that came the delay ;D
