isnt it a lil bit depressing to think that what ever can be done on the guitar/music etc had been done and whatever that we think, its interesting and new, but actually been done so many time, so many years back and the scary part is not that its been done, but we/you/your friends might have not heard it at all and if happen to come up with own material, thinking that its cool, interesting and mind boggling. what is new was just old shit recycled and repacked damned!!! Having no inspiration and yet having thots like that is bad

maybe one could look at music as a medium of expression... not a medium for invention?

it does bother me occasionally, that everything has been done and there's not much further to go. but at the end of the day, if you do what you want with your music and if you do it well, you still achieve something. everything has been tried and i believe no one can be original anymore BUT you still can be clever and innovative, i think. with only 8 musical notes (inclusive of sharp and flat), should be quite hard.

MagnumF, good news for you.. if you have been exploring music with the 8 musical notes, I've got good news!
there are 12 musical notes in the western scale and more than 120 in the Indian classical music... ;D
RAWK ON BROthers!

i never diss getai players... their pentatonic scales always bring a smile to my face. And that alone deserves my respect...

somemore they have excellent taste in amps....either a JazzChorus or twin reverb. but then again coupled with an 80's guitar with floyd rose, quite cheese la. something likable about them.
