I tell you my dirty little secret...
I'd always wanted to recreate Adam Jones guitar tone on AEnima...Part of his much talked about tone on that album is his use of a Flanger pedal before the distortion pedal....Think it was an old Ibanez one...Problem is, i've tried the BOSS BF-3, and i can't seem to get that....anyone here have any idea how to do that??? (i.e. pedal, settings, positions of pedals...etc)

I dunno abt the flanger thing boss.
All I know is that he used a SG and an Ibanez DE-7 (if I'm not wrong!) to track Lateralis, the song. Just the clean parts though...

I know his main guitar is a Gibson LP Custom Silverburst. Generally, his tone on Lateralus more refined, but i like that flanged tone on AEnima better.... |

why not try getting a sound adam jones might wanna rip off from u?.. ;D

Maybe in two years time, adam will call me and ask me about my set-up. hur hur hur  I beat him to it lah. I run 5 different amps, each with 5 different channels. that means i have 125 combinations of different tones...MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! i wanna be the king of distortion tones......(eh, i was looking for a devil emoticon, but cant find)  |
