I tried the seek trem at Guitar77 yesterday. I am impressed by its functionality and sequencing abilities... but I dun think I like it that much. So since u have heard so much good things about the seek trem, here's some bad ones. They are strictly my opinions.
1. It requires a lot of tweaking before you can get an effect that u might like.
2. It seems to lose a bit of the brittleness of strats (which could be a good thing) otherwise it is rather transparent.
3. its so nice to look at, u dun wanna bring it out for gigs.
4. its quite hard to mark out settings if you want to (knobs are small and the space is smaller)
5. it acutally is able to do the basica function of a trem pedal, but to get the choppy waveform , u might have to tweak a lot, otherwise the waveforms seems very gentle and smooth...

one more thing..
it has actually quite a few sounds n patterns but you cannot store any.. meaning you can perhaps use only 1 setting for the whole gig.. unless u can tweak on the fly.. or have the money to buy a few..
also, maybe if there's a hard/soft and fast/slow footswitch it might help.. but then again.. i don think there's any space left in there.. still a very nice thought out pedal though.. zach's still da man.. now give me a lofi loop junky.. i don mind a fuzz probe though..

its a tweaker/wanker pedal!! Its fun playing with it, but fitting into songs/music context, it need some inspiration, imho  heh, if zach come out with the hard/soft, dual speed cum setting seekie, i think it gonna cost more than a lot oh, i just went down to peninsular to get some strings and such(been a while since the last time). Man, that place can cause serious GAS maddness!! The guitars i mean. As for pedals, haha, misse boss, your roomful of treasure still beat them jialat jialat, no fight...... |

10 rules of pedalfile
1) Do not hurt anyone who dont use pedals
2) Do not tell others how bad a pedal is, unless they want to hear it
3) When playing with other peoples pedal, treat it with respect and care
4) If someone trash your pedal, then do the same to theirs
5) Do not treat the pedals of another person like yours, unless they allow you to play with it
6) Do not take any pedal which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the person and he cries out to be relieved
7) Acknowledge the power of pedals if you have used it successfully to obtain your tone. If you deny the power of pedal having called upon it with success, you're a
pussy, arsehole, dickhead!!
8) Do not complain too much bout how lousy a pedal its, when one day you might just realised how great the tone is
9) Do not abuse pedals
10) When playing in a band, do not piss everyne off by turning up your amp/pedals to maximum while the rest suffered. If its your bandmate doing that to you, ask him to stop. If he ignore it, destroy the amps/pedals or if you wanna, wack him jialat jialat!!
hmmm, i just let pedalnisim into my mind. Damned, i feel evil.....

BACK TO THE TOPIC.. ZVEX trem seek is a really good pedal...
agree if you need to tweak it on the fly, it might be a huge headache... but I am thinking of the shoe-gazer movement.. it should be a must have for all shoe-gazers?
Some other guy selling an ooh-wah on luthers the other day.. anyone caught it?
