i think he prefer analog guy more than digital guy. He prefers warmness more than clarity instead...

you know speakin' of digital and analogue...
DOES it bother you guys that, IN THE MIX, unless the pedal is really a cheap digital pedal... you can't really hear if its digital? esp in noisy music?
i know most of you guys here are post-rockers, and post-rockers' tones NEED to be warm and everything...
truth is that I can hear a difference between a modded DD5 and unmodded one.. BUT i can't hear the difference in a band context, unless I am do a engvay mumstein (i.e. HOGging the limelight)
what u guys think?

i think u cannot really tell it in a song i guess.. the amount of post production n all totally changes things.. in a live context.. seriously, there's not that much heaven n hell diiference also right?.. just that analog delays might not sound as clear which can be good n bad depending on preferences..

imho, the difference between analog and digital, most of the time become an issue only to people not playing in band or just playing for fun or surf too much among effect forums ;D....
Some of the big name does care for those analog one, but also a lot just happy using normal stuff.
In the end, analog or digital, if it give them what they need in the overall sense, even a el cheapo also can be a holy grail.
