don't really care much about deftones.....but it's good enough for me to get one i really like the idea that you program your own sounds. nothing is more irritating than listening to someone using the same samples as you. i want to make "ugly" sounds from the nord lead...hopefully can manage to find The nordlead...the first one.

i like that too but....it's all preset. i would prefer the adventure and pain of programming your own noises. it's because of that damn band which i love, 9 horses. i was wondering how they manage to get those damn sounds until i saw the pictures then....nord lead.

preset meh? i've got one but have not messed too much with it. I know i can tweak the parameters on the fly.... tweak tweak tweak and get weird sounds.

i like it la....the sounds when you turn the knob to 'retro' is best. sounds like YMO! however, yes la...presets then you play with parameters a bit unadventurous for me...just like VJ. VJ=preset man! i had to wait for him to go off to toilet then can play with parameters and filters...hehehe
