Hello Missonians, My first post here, too urgent to wait for account to be approved, so pardon me. Just bought a mini CuteTron, tried it with 4 different basses. It has a nasty volume jump on 3 of my basses. All basses are active, and one of them is 18v. Can anyone help me here?  |

Heh, cant offer much help. So the 4th bass actually sounded ok? No vol jump?

Hi mmmmmmm, thanks for replying.
Yeah the 4th bass dosent have that problem with the qTron, its a 9V yamaha trb bass.
Would modding the qTron be an option?

wait a min...
before it goes into modding the thang, lets take a step back and find out what actually was the problem first.
I have no idea whats going on, but can only judge from the way you put it, so pardon me if i do sound silly ;D
1) The pedal bought brand new from shop or used?
If from shop, can exchanged? If used, then take another step back and find out what really happen first, is it the bass problem or the pedal problem
2) If its the pedal problem, why does it sound ok with the 4th bass
3) other than bass thru it, how about guitar? Any same problem?
anyway, i really cant help much except to say, dont rush, take the time to find out what happen before spending more money and time... although iam rather guilty of these, but but... ;D ;D
