never trust samples 100% coz most of the time, the one doing the clips will know what and how to maximise the quality of the effect in that 30sec or so, not to mentioned the already steady amp and geetar... ;D

apparently he uses this very rare pedal in his band shellac. to get that sharp tone of his. sharp, but kind of pleasant.

yah harmonic percolator! aiyah that kind of sound is not everybody's cup of tea. it is a different sound though.
but with makers like E13, a lot of choices for noise pedals.
