What do you guy think about these guys? I was blown away by their IOWA album. These bastards tune down to B, and the drums and bass are like so f**king heavy...I used to study listening to that...hur hur... ;D The new one is bit more experimental. But the guitar tone. Phawwww!!!! Kick major ass siah! Sorry ah. i into modern high gain tone.... although i'm a gibson man, my dream is to have a custom ibanez guitar shaped in the letter Y ;D I'll call it the flying Y. F**king cool siah...  |

Actually, think 'bout it. The flying V: The guitar neck plus the V portion of the body creates a Y. Why issit not called the flying Y in the 1st place? Well, I'm not a Slipknot fan... but doesn't Korn tune down to a dropped A? Like tt scarier... but I heard their past few ones are pretty crap. I have 'Follow The Leader' and heard 'Life Is Peachy' (??) before... |

Actually, think 'bout it. The flying V: The guitar neck plus the V portion of the body creates a Y. Why issit not called the flying Y in the 1st place? Well, I'm not a Slipknot fan... but doesn't Korn tune down to a dropped A? Like tt scarier... but I heard their past few ones are pretty crap. I have 'Follow The Leader' and heard 'Life Is Peachy' (??) before... I was the No. 1 KoRn fan back then in 1996. Life is Peachy is the real shit man...I stopped listening to them after Follow The Leader. Too repetitive. I like their cover of Camoe's Word Up though  |

wooo korn, i was so much into them when the first album came out. My poly days was filled with their music, feeling anger and rage everyday to school listening to them;D but hell yeah, after few albums, they sounded rather repetitive and not much new ideas.... nowadays, i really cant stand the low as fuck distortion, its worst than feeding tons of distortion thru a bass, the definition of tone was horrible.....
anyway, not that i hate them, i still like some of their music, hehe, even got their live dvd for watching pleasure
slipknots? proficient musicians, i like their debut, but didnt really follow up after that. Guess my attention wander off looking for more interesting music as the years goes by.
Anyway, the only so called nu metal band which i think its interesting, is system of a down. I love their stuff.

there is a flying Y guitar what. fliying V is what those heavy metal bozos, Scorpions use. the kind that dave mustaine or kirk hammet use are flying Ys. main difference is that the bottom sharp point is slightly shorter.
