it was not harsh, it was muddy... thats what I say lah...
not my kind of tone, but if it works for magnumF, it works for him lah..
after all, tone is in Eric Johnson's fingers.haha ;D

airhole boss, you understand me the best la.
i don't like distortion. i try to stick the the clean sound as much as i can, thus overdrive to just drive it a bit. my overdrive tone is at the 10-11 o'clock range. drive at 1 o'clock. as i set the JM to the low cut mode, the treble and mid is boosted so i have to set my amp ALWAYS to 8 o' clock on the bass and 3 o' clock on the treble.
there you go. though it's not for everyone, it is definitely for me. airhole boss, i love you.

yes..... we, IF, are playing this friday...cum cum. IF (affectionately known as 'incredible fuzz' or 'internationa fuzz' sometimes) are playing three new songs plus we might play 'whole lotta love' by Led Zep if Nigel has his way that night. i think POW got no space for chicken dance tho!
