Hey all, Im letting go of my beloved Boogie Mark 3, its the combo version, simulclass, with the equaliser, its loaded with 5 EH 12AX7s and a quad of Mesa Boogie 6L6s, can range from blackface cleans to raging Boogie distortion. Jazz to metal with pull of switch.
Been thinking for a while whether to let it go, its served me well but since i dont play out anymore the wattage is a little over kill. Even on class A mode 15watts its plenty loud. Hope to find it a good owner - going for $1800; more negotiable for forumites =). Cheers, can email me at luthertrader@mac.com or pm me, thanks!

im looking at a univalve for home recording, cos since i mostly play at home now the Mark III is a little underutilised. It still gives good tone at bedroom volumes, but not nearly as good when its pushed.

Are you crazy??? Dun you know all reviews can't be trusted and we MrMiss-ties dun believe in reviews!?!?!?! Send us a picture of your room and we'll tell you if the colour of the amp will fit nicely in ur room. Colour co-ordination is of the utmost importance...
By the way, you gotch samples of your recording or not?

hehe, i think theres a better chance of getting to read about how a delay sounded more than how the univalve is, in here ;D anyway, the best THD questions and answers and clips are prolly all in here. www.univalve.net/forums/www.univalve.net/forums_new/if not enough, then i can only say, univalve blows, kaapoooot when use in the wrong way. Mine did, but it was fixed and since then. I have decided to use average amp, guitar, over the top gadgets. Coz that, is the way to indulgence!!! ;D ;D

was using a kt88 tube in it. Crank the thing, love the tone, really beautiful, but overheated somewhere on the board. Kinda short circuit. Kapoooooot!!! And that was like few days after i got it brand new
the repair done by mikemann. Really have to thank him for that. If not, i think i be with a blown univalve to remind myself of my own stupidity... ;D ;D

That blows.... (no pun intended).... so did you find out if it was a problem with the tube, the design of the amp? or just a fault in the specific unit you had?
