Librations of the Moon is a collaboration between three musicians seeking to explore the boundaries of their own craft. Drifting between ambient acoustic melodies, analog sound, looping and electro-industrial verberations, librations of the moon chafes the edges musical scapes, bringing the performers and the audience out of familiar territory and into new and wonderful nuances of sound through the melding of three extremely disparate profiles.
This also marks the first time Darren, Randolf and Zul have worked together.

Zulkifle Mahmod, also known as GEDMB, is at the forefront of a generation of sound-media artists in Singapore's contemporary art development. An Associate Artist at the alternative art space The Substation, Zul's practice signals a more encompassing and expanded visual arts sensory experience..
Zul works with DIY synths he builds with his own hands. He doesn't rely on the conventional "bought-off-the-shelf" equipment to create his works. Zul also uses everyday house hold items such as plastic boxes to house his synths.
Adopting a multi-disciplinary/multi-genre approach, that also include drawings, prints, sculptures and ready-mades, Zul has exhibited in Singapore, Thailand, Germany, Japan, Vietnam, Moscow, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Norway and Finland. His "Stilt" series forms part of The Swissotel Stamford Singapore's permanent art collection. His notable initiatives include an industrial-sound inspired soundtrack in conjunction with an Antoni Tapies exhibition at the Singapore Art Museum and a series of 5 sound performances (False Securities, 2005) using binaural field recordings and digitally processed sounds.

Darren Ng, also known as SONICBRAT, is a believer in poetic imperfection and most of his music is performed and recorded on the fly without multi-tracking.
Darren is a Singapore-based sound artist and music composer whose electro-acoustic sound-bites have established him as one of the most sought after sound designers and music composers/arrangers in the local theatre and art scene, and whose sound is one that critics have described as part primordial and part industrial. His works have been compared to Erik Satie and Martin Denny by international music reviewers from UK (WIRE: Ken Hollings) and Hong Kong (Hompy). Trained in classical piano, he has ventured into the digital realm of sampling, Musique Concrete, acousmatic music, digital and analogue synthesis, bringing a new sonic experience for his listeners.
Sonicbrat has been earning him an audio signature in the underground music movement.
He is currently an Associate Sound Designer for The Finger Players Ltd.

Randolf Arriola, also known as THE EMBRYO is a professional singer, songwriter, guitarist, arranger, producer, sonic tweaker, live looper from Singapore. Earlier in Oct 2007 Randolf was a featured performer at the Y2K7 International Live Looping Festival at Santa Cruz North California USA.
