hahaha, i want to be just like him, I wanna the ring mod in the coming mths/years/decade ;D ;D saw this from www.sixstringsoul.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi/YaBB.cgi?board=Effects;action=display;num=1091470942.... have the phaser, ring modulator, and the murf.very musical pedals. my problem with them is that you can get so many good and different sounds out of them, that I can never decide on a setting. problem is somewhat solved by hooking up an expression pedal to control them I especially like to control the sweep on the phaser. I have the Lovetone andFrantone Glacier ring mods and the moogerfooger is warmer and more musical sounding than the other two, althuogh the Glacier comes in a VERY close second, just doesn't have as much control over the sound as the Moogerfoogers. the lovetone, blows farts next to the Moogerfooger can't even compare them, on it's own, it's alright interesting sounds and a killer octave fuzz, but when you put it next to the mooger it sounds very lo-fi, like I built it, and trebly and needs ALOT of tweaking just to get a good sound out of it. the murf, so far I've got it imitate(very convincingly)a phaser, sample and hold, seek wah, envelope filter, and some spacey textural sounds. all these pedals really come alive with an expression pedal(or two)and in the case of the murf, a tap tempo pedal. the lovetone ringstinger,Frantone glacier, and Zvex seek wah are getting e-bayed thanks to the MoogerFoogers ahhhhhhhhhh, *MURF MURF MURF MURF MURF* be murf-cified by it and no way back......
