Here's a custom made Delay/Tremelo/Boost pedal made by Way Huge founder J. Tripps. This pedal was made in 1998 for guitarist Rick Holmstrom. This unit was part of Rick's live rig from 1998 to around 2001 and was used during his time with Rod Piazza and also with Rick's own band. If you saw Rick during this time you probably heard this pedal. The Delay is a Way Huge Aqua-Puss. This magnificent pedal brilliantly captures the warm, vibrant tones of vintage pedals (think Echoplex), but does away with all of the troubles and worries that plague older units. The Aqua-Puss provides a terrifically smooth delay from 20ms to 300ms. The Tremelo is a Voodoo Lab Tremelo. The Voodoo Lab Tremolo re-creates the buttery, seductive tone of a vintage tube amp tremolo. This is accomplished by using the same lamp and photocell assembly found in many popular vintage amps. The Gain Boost is a MXR-1 "Microamp"... this device adds a preset amount of gain, using a single control. With a guitar, this lets you boost your signal for lead work, The unit runs on a 9-volt or a 9-volt power supply (not included). This is a perfect unit for Blues, Country, Rockabilly and other "roots" style.
