If i need a compressor, i would like to have a EBS multicomp This look one hell of a nice bass preamp, DI box The MicroBassII can be used in many different ways. For example, as an active direct box, a one or two channel preamp, instrument switcher or blender. The two channels provide sound shaping from high end solid-state types to distorted timbres using the rewarded tube emulation circuitry found in the EBS range of professional bass heads. An incorporated effects loop gives the user added flexibility for connecting to other effect pedals or for mixing in an external audio source such as CD player for rehearsal purposes. The balanced output with speaker simulator option provides unmatched flexibility in live and studio situations. The MicroBassII can also be powered in four different ways, with a DC power supply, battery, EBS Phantom Power System™ or 48V microphone phantom power. EBS MicroBassII FEATURES: • 9-Volt Phantom Power System™ powers any EBS pedal and/or active bass. • Natural tube-like compressor allows effect compression, without side effects. • Easy-dialing filter section for quick setups. • Equipped with soft filter overdrive function. • Wide range middle filter with a traditional timbre. • Soft BRIGHT filter for a natural overdrive. • Floating balanced XLR output with ground lift, pre/post EQ and mute options. • True 24dB/octave active crossover filters.

andrenalin, the demo vidz of it seem a cool gear. But guess i still prefer turning knobs, ooooh lala, nothing beat of feeling of tweaking and hearing the moan... errrr tone i mean ;D
maybe EBS want them to bring in a lot of pedals if ever they want to be dealer??? Wheras for amp, it can be less. Haha, what do i know anyway. For me, i seem to have the impression that EBS amp more well receive in bass circle than their pedals.
