songs or music.....any stuff to recommend?

Been playing with couple of modulation pedals lately(thanks to mrmisse ;D) and it got me thinking, how difficult/easy it is to include some of it in a music piece and not sounding too much of the effect.....

Anyone got any songs/music in mind?? Iam actually trying to find some music where a ring modulator is put to good use..
anyway, if there some some stuffs with nice delay, flanger, phaser or whatever weird effect, just recommend, thanks

i think frusciante uses quite a bit of ring mod here n there.. i have 2 of his solo albums n there r some pretty cool noises around..

i bet u all should know stone roses!!.. YEAH!!.. well i loved them then.. still do.. listen to 'made of stone' solo by john squire.. the use of the phase was really timely..

i always hav a problem using flange.. somehow i jus donno where it should fit in..

hmmm, how bout jeff beck and ring mod. Think i saw it somewhere that he uses ring mod in some of his music.

Frusciante? hmm, i got onoe of his solo stuff, but rather poppy sounding for that album. Maybe gotta go dig out and listen again

My first taste of flanger is actually thru j mascis. Saw a video of his back then, playing the song freakscene live. Although its nothing fanciful bout the flanging, but it fitted rather well in that song.

that was one of the reason why i was into them.. i even have a "made of stone" Tshirt haha.. but it's pretty worn out..
