i thought parkin lot pimp really blew me away, ke rong on keyboards, kicking ass as usual...
furniture was too cool too.
but i guess for me personally, i met up with ke rong at a friend's bday party 2 weeks back and we were jamming in his dad's home made studio. we were running a cort strat copy and a, check this out, a 1981 hagstrom les paul, into a handmade class A tube 4x10 tweed case Amp. ke rong was doing the jazz on the keyboards while my friend's dad and i were just playing away, usually rhythm and slight fill ins, ke rong doing the lead all the way, insane sounds man.
and ke rong is a mean ass guitar player too, no wonder berkley offered him a scholarship! i felt so small playing next to him man.
but what an experience.

I just heard that Clement, bassist of Ugly In The Morning won the Yamaha Asian Beat Best Guitarist award! Din know tt the fucker had more in him than his amazing bass technique!!!
I feel demoralised...
As for best gig this year, I dunno lah. I'd probably go with David Bowie... though he might be a dandy Brit.
Locally, Phorous I guess... Probably, The Observatory at Baybeats and Electrico almost everytime I see them live... (I've seen them live at least 6 times this year; still is good)
Breakout band for me is UITM. Fucken tight and funky.
Anticipated local band of 2005: MagnumF's Holidays On Saturdays... I like the concept without hearing a single note. Double bass (!!!) with electronic beats...
