Sigh, then we can all organize gigs...
Look at all the young people nowadays. So on the balls... Do shows in secondary schools, junior colleges and polys. Fuck! NUS only do once a year!!! Dodgy Conman, cannot make it lah...

I mean, I'm so caught up with work and all. I wish I had more tyme to play more music like Farid. Young men like him got dreams and aspiration...

Dodgy Conman, cannot make it lah... NUS does many gigs a year. CFA alone does at least 4-5 gigs of different genres. Not to mention all the rock festival, the Jam X and other stuff. yes, OMS does one public gig by themselves but we also farm ourselves out to other gig organisers if they wanna do gigs in NUS. you also know la, ultimately its all about money. secondary schools, JC, poly all funded by the school. we have to source for sponsor all, bargain for cheaper sound, try to let bands understand if we cannot pay them .... and if we don't cover costs, still have to fork out our own money. so if we get some kind sponsor, local music philantropist willing to fund us, we be happy to do gigs till the cows come home and the pigs get bored of flying. until then, one public gig a year is the limit. |
