As we all know, there is a plethora of different pedals out there, boasting capabilities such as boost, slight grainy overdrive, etc etc. So what is everyones favourite?
Personally, the Jekyll and Hyde does it for me.

yeah, Fireball is distortion also wat.. WMUM overdrive pedal is distortion also wat...
any Overdrive, distortion, metal, grunge, crunch, fuzz pedal is distortion..
my experience of the current MXR distortion +, not good.
one trick pony, not worth the moolah. you want the chugga chugga? GT2 is da bomb.

Can it conjure up those kind of " thick thick " , " chugga chugga " type distortion?? you are talking about the FULLTONE one eh?.. it's a funny pedal really.. alot of people dissed it but as the reviews go, it is a winner if you pair it up with FD2 or maybe any other similar overdrives.. it really cuts through but by itself, it's neither here nor there.. come try try.. i have 1 in stock.. ;D |

WMUM overdrive pedal is distortion also wat... any Overdrive, distortion, metal, grunge, crunch, fuzz pedal is distortion... yup, you're right..all those overdrives, fuzz can be labled as distortion cos distortion simply means anything that disrupts or changes your tone, but that's philosophically speaking. but practically distortions are considered to have more gain than overdrive pedals and sound more amp-like than fuzz pedals. so my query about fireball2 was that whether the gain department makes it an distortion rather than a overdrive.  |

for now, the nu chugga chugga pedal is the line 6 uber metal. When the nu behringer metal tone come out, perhaps it will change ;D
