the botakrastafarian has one... Nitefly.
It's light as hell... lighter than a Reverend if I'm not wrong... Some folks hate the graphite neck but I'm fine with it... It hasa v thing sound which is in total contrast to the dual humbucker sound (RAWWKKKK!!!!!!!) I'm so used to...
but the frets which are glued on (yes...) are a real bitch... They tend to fall off...

hmmm.....
what about the tone? considering the type of material that is being used for parkers...is the tone very different from the normal guitars?

a lil too thin. It's not as sparkly (??) as a Strat lah. For sure, the Nitefly I played on had no Strat-like bell chiming tones... but it's pretty easy to play, at least for me...
Some folks consider it a travestry to guitars in the world. But I like the way how it looks... ;D

Yeah, stay away from the U.S. made models. The frets are glued directly onto the fingerboard without any tangs and I've seen the frets lifting from the fingerboard and they eventually fall out. They're a real pain to glue back and almost impossible to glue it back accurately. The Korean models have regular fretwire but nothing beats the Reverends in terms of tone, feel and playability IMHO ;D Hahahaha. I'm shameless ;D

i like the parker fly sound.. sounded good to me, imo...
i love the stainless steel frets.. cos i use darn heavy strings.. very little wear.. and its smooth all year round..
there are complaints that the glue can't take singapore weather... i dunno about the new stocks that come in.. they might be bad also.. but i like them.. i jus haven't a reason to really own one..
