Any idea how i can use a bypass pedal to include/exclude from my pedals line up for convenience when playing live? I'm not sure how the bypass pedal work, can someone help me out ?

the simplest true bypass looper will have 2 pairs of input/output
1st set of input/output is the usual guitar/effect in and out
the other in/out(refer to loop in this case) is to insert any pedals which you find is sucking the tone in this loop.
When the the true bypass looper is not engaged, signal will pass from the 1st set of input to output directly
When you engage the true bypass looper, the signal will go from the input(1st set of input) into the pedals you have in the loop and out to the output(1st set output)
at any time, you can have the effects in the loop always on. When you need, just engage the bypass looper footswitch, it will add in the effect to the rest of your chain.
