Anyone knows where to get a replacement Yamaha magicstomp adaptor? Asked Luther and Yamaha Musicplaza but both dun have.. damnz..

nope.. the magicstomp needs 12VAC.. 1spot is DC power.. damnz..

hmm.. can anione tell mi if its ok that i plug in the supplied yamaha ac adaptor (for use in U.S. voltage; 120v) into our local voltage (240v)? Will anyting adverse happen to the magic stomp? or is there any place i can find a similar replacement ac adaptor (12V, 1000mA).. thnx!

it will blow the adapter and your pedal if you plug it in
240 > 240 > 12V
240 > 120 > 24V
I can get you an EH12VAC adapter but the head probably will need to mod for it to fit. What is the power connection like for your Magicstomp?

wow!! thats cheap liao.. compared to all the adaptors i searched on the net!! ;D.. was wondering if you gonna meet up with misse boss anytime within the next 2 wks then mibe u can pass to him cos im also ordering stuff from him.. but if not then i can meet u instead  |

hmm.. now then i got the email from teh yamaha pple.. the replacement adaptor is damn ex!! $42 plus 4 wk wait.. looks like ah seng's price realli is the friendliest in S'pore liao.. haha ;D

hmm.. found the size of the output plug for the adaptor (i tink).. 5.5x2.1mm output plug.. is this the normal sized (i.e. BOSS) output plug?

Oooo I tried using a 120V US adaptor before. After 1 min, the thing started smoking. Just glad there was no major damage to the pedal. panic sia!
since we're on the topic of power supply, Seng can joo sell me 1x 18V DC adaptor if you have stock?
