Been looking out for analog delay stompboxes for damn long... and recently 3 have been listed.. Since they are bloody expensive i need some advice from you guys....
DM2 - $250
DM3 - $300
Keeley mod AD9 - $290
im thinking boss since they are rare...the ad9 can be gotten at guitar 77 for 350 new...
Pls after suanning me remember to still leave some advice im think i might be it pretty soon

the DM2 that dude is selling is now sitting at my place after being repaired.. seriously, the DM2 n DM3 are more for collection instead of gigging because if the chip goes dead..  no more headrush??? ;D |

if for collection, go for the boss(no much using, but just keeping it around for fun). If for abuse and usage, i wud think the ad-9 be more suitable.
But if really wanna for collection, imho, those boss can only remained as collection pieces for boss collectors or some only.
Being those, no matter how rare, were regular production piece once and due to the discontinuation, thus became rare
And if we are looking at the features, the rather short delay timing available from it can only reach so much before one might get bored with it, especially if you are into tweaking and getting that extra texture in sound for the band.
all imho, if its my situation, i wud go for the ad 9.
oh, the headrush is unique in certain features. if for digital delay,
that, shud be one to get. Other than DL4 ;D

I've got the DM2. Super short anarogue delay. Nice sounding but over hyped. I had the DM3. Sold it for $90. Didn't care for it. The anarogue is not warming enough. I had the originale AD9. Great for noise put down the guitar twiddle with knobs bukakke the pedale but thats just about it. Dakai, if you want something more useful and more musicale sounding.... get the DL4 or the Echopark. You won't go wrong... but if you wanna raise the CVLT standard of the already CVLTist Death In Afterlife..... GO GET A FUCKING ECHOCZAR WOOULDDD CHOOOO?  |
