Don't leave me here alone,
Don't just shut me out
With my face on the cold ground
But you know the cold,
It fades from numb to warm
Just like blooming spring
So it must be getting better
And the pebbles are worn smooth

There's an odd comfort to be found

Tomorrow I will be surprised, far more

Dark Betrayal

Around, all around, the dark memories gather.
My dread grows as the Dark One's touch falls against my naked soul.
It crushes me, and darkly my
life's blood drips
to the wicked earth that is my prison.
In a strange and terrible glee I flail madly
while the Reaper looms.
Now alone, my cascade of tears falls upon darkened eyes.
