Actually anyone played both the jap and US version before? I heard from most ppl that there is no real differences btw the two. I mean, the list price of the Jazzmaster at swee lee is 4000. Might as well get a LP, at that kinda price. Hehe. Make ur gian. Here's my 98 Fender Jaugar (Jap):

The pickups are only slightly hotter. To be able to play even anything remotely modern, i think you'll need the seymour duncan quarter pounders in there.
I dunno about the bridge. It seems like they added a cover to it thats all. I dun know about the stability. Anyway, the whole idea of getting a Jaguar or Jazzmaster is to have heavy strings on them. If you strap on heavy strings, the bridge will not "run" that often. OooHHH! and did i mention that the chiming notes when played behind the bridge is damn cool.....

if it's already on internet.. click image n replace "URL" with the URL of the pic.. if it's in your harddisk then you'll have to upload onto the net first.. maybe there r other ways..

if not wrong, those yahoo brief case photo cant be linked as just a individual photo.
might have to save the pics to the computer, upload to a free pics server, then link from there.
