yes, sdre, i agree with you, holly shit indeed. Check with ishi whether they have such similar one. Imho, a 62 body with a maple fretboard, is really really lovely. I like the tone and playing feel of the tele neck with maple fretboard. Damned, thats really a lovely guitar..

hehe, iam not really a pickup person, paiseh.
If you really get that and didnt like the sound. Shud be easy to change PU locally.
You know, every now and then, i got this idea to change the maple board neck on my mim tele with the rosewood one on the 62. But lucky i aint too crazy to really do that ;D
Really a beautiful 62 twin!!

lace sensors are sorta plain sounding to me... not much of character...
macam the regular Walls Vanilla Icecream versus the Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough.
Anyways its known that Lace sensors works pretty well if you use a lot of effects.
As always.... YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY.
And also note that this message is brought to you by someone who digs ACTIVE EMGs on his tele... its like wot the fuck rite? EMGs pwn. hahaha.... macam i got play that game like that....

hehe.. my mileage vary lah... If its the lace sensors GOLD, its the good stuff lah.. at least for me... single coil-ish type sound out.. and it works nice with strats... dunno about other guitars. I prefer it WITHOUT effects... just maybe overdrive.. distortion sounds "funny" to me.but then again the distortion i was using was DS1, eh? The lace sensor REDs, IMHO are the worst... brittle and thin. hmm... Silver and Blue are alright, in fact I prefer the silver then blue... but gold takes the top spot... nice shim, very very quiet... and the BEST part about the pup is that you can raise the pup as close to the strings as possible... no magnetic pull! equate to higher output! yeah, its a good deal lah.. hope u like it... i think ahseng's ben and jerry's is Bill Lawrence 280s?

generally, i dun like the LP sound lah...
hahaha... but the point was to get an LP to test pedals.. so that can tell if the pedal is better for humbuckers or scs....
oh well, i guess not eh?
