hmm there was a van zandt strat at guitar77 for quite some time, was that yours? looks the same one ;D

no, mine was not the one in guitar77. similar though, but i felt mine had a thinner finish. i like this guitar but i realise that a rosewood/alder strat with slightly bolder pups and a hardtail will work with my blackface amps. i also do not need to fight the trem so much as i tend to play with 11s. so everything is easier. i could block the trem and use it with the bandmaster for which it is a perfect match. (tweed amps and low output pups work best together) i am considering it.
