In the age of social media, there is a false sense of connectedness between people. Just because they are on your friend's list and you are seeing their updates, doesn't mean you are actually conversing with them or connecting to them.
Bring back the humble forum I say, when our conversations used to come quick and furious, with no need for a red number yelling at me that there is an update, no chime from the phone hurrying me to reply.
