hmm.. i have never tried these 2 but read some good reviews on them n from what i gathered.. they are about the same..
maxon probably commands a higher price though.. haha.. i say if u see any of these used ones at a good price.. GET IT!! that's how my gas started.. haha.. just whacking any effects at good prices.. but eventually keeping most of them.. haha ;D

I read that the ibanez ADL is pretty good, same as the AD9 but cheaper cos the casing looks kind of cheapo, that seems like a pretty good buy. I thing it was meant to be more of a lower budget analog delay, but apparently only the casing is different. I could be wrong about that though. the 18 volt analog delays, like the ibanez AD80 seem to be higher regarded though. There's this DOD 18 volt analog delay that seems quite good, I can't remember what it's called though... dammit shdnt tell you guys this, I'm a total analog delay junkie!! I WANT THEM! ALL OF THEM!!! of course, having bought the AD80, I end up using the DL4 more instead.... mmm sweep filter delay i like......  |

hello former dreadlocksrastafarian current botakrastafarian.. welcome to the forum.. kannasai.. didnt occur to me it was you.. anyhow back to the thread.. yeah.. I have played w a clone of the AD80 but is was a digital one based on the circuitry of the AD80.. yeah it was good.. but i do not how it compares.. it's actually pretty close to a Ibanez DE7... although this little toy is digital.. the echo channel is really nicely built and i got it used for $60/70.. super good bang for the money.. mind me for being winding but you have to try all.. infact.. compare them side to side.. i will bring in the DL4 soon n u can try the Deluxe Memory Man with the DL4 n H2O.. n my DE7.. i'll see if there r others around to provide more options.. meanwhile, GAS urself up by reading more on delays n check this out.. super gassy.. i also cannot tahan but the price??.. it's haha quite xiao.. www.toneczareffects.com/sm-download.htmwww.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?s=d2c87e50f0519ae030b39db03b3cd235&threadid=43222 this was posted earlier by 44ofjuly in soft.com.sg.. enjoy!! |
